Summary This tiny little clam lives in the walls of the burrows of the burrowing shrimp [[Upogebia pugettensis|Puget Sound Mud Shrimp (''Upogebia pugettensis'')]], and of the spoonworm [[Echiurus sitchaensis|Alaska spoonworm (''Echiurus sitchaensis'')]]. It has a short "foot" and tends to move around quite rapidly in proportion to its size.
