Observed growing adjacent to the trail, it … Observed growing adjacent to the trail, it seemed as though they were growing out of rotting wood. Mushrooms were deformed, which I thought was maybe due to not managing to grow out away from the roots and such, but there also seems to be odd growth on the one collected, so maybe deformation was due to infection by a second fungus.n was due to infection by a second fungus. +
