[[Pyura haustor|Warty tunicate (''Pyura haustor'')]] doesn't have hair on the siphons which are longer and paler, and ''[[Halocynthia hilgendorfi]]'', which is sometimes synonymized and appears to be a Western Pacific species, doesn't have hair on its body.
