Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Material referable to this species can be reported from Harbor Mountain, above Sitka, Baranof Island, Worley 10069; and from Mud Bay, Chilkoot Inlet, near Haines, Worley 12112.
Habitat: On rocks, from sea level to the alpine.
Comments: Occasionally with sporophytes; the southeastern Alaska material was sterile.
