Ian Worley
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Dr. Ian Worley completed his PhD disseration in 1972 on the biogeography of Bryophytes in Southeast Alaska. The information containted in this document has been invaluable for compiling a list of the bryophytes expected to occur in the Sitka area and gaining a better understanding of their distribution. Dr. Worley went on to teach at the University of Vermont. I appreciate Dr. Worley's efforts to understand the bryophytes of this region, and even more his willingness to allow the use of his dissertation through out the bryophyte pages on this site.
