Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 273.
Habitat: Local, but sometimes abundant in the region, on sunny, dry rock outcrops and cliffs, occasionally in semi shaded sites. Always near sea level. Elsewhere in its range also as an epiphyte.
Comments: Not seen with sprophytes in southeastern Alaska. This species reaches its northern limit in southeastern Alaska, where it is infrequent.
