Orcinus orca
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Killer Whale (Orcinus orca):
Local Notes
- Sitka/Orcinus orca: Transient pods move through Sitka Sound from time to time, but are not dependably found. Considering the broader area, there are almost certainly pods present at most times, the challenge is finding them. (edit)
