Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Throughout.
Habitat: Wherever it is wet with periodic inundation, forest pools, fens, on shaded cliffs, over organic materials, forest floors, and other similar sites.
Comments: The species is frequently fertile and often forms extensive mats, especially at the margins of forest depressions and vernal pools.
