Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 127. Known only from the northern portion of the region.
Habitat: On raw tills and mineral soils near active or receding glaciers. Elsewhere reported from damp, sandy soil, in coniferous forest zones of mountains.
Comments: The species is frequently fertile.
