Sitka/Birds: Semipalmated Plover
Sitka Summary: Fairly Common in May, Uncommon in August on the road system. Abundance is somewhat variable from year to year. May be more common in better habitat that is available off the road system. Best seen at Totem Park, the Turnaround, Halibut Point Recreation Area, or Starrigavan.
