Notocomplana sanguinea
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Saddleback flatworm (Notocomplana sanguinea): This is a common flatworm of the intertidal, and is identified by its reddish saddle patch. If you or your beachcombing friends haven't yet seen a flatworm move, it's always quite fascinating to hold one in captivity for awhile, and watch it swim and undulate across different surfaces. The genus Notocomplana is very complicated.
