  • Geiser Dillman Derr Stensvold 1998: Common; in peatlands and open forests on organic soils among mosses, logs, rocks, and trunks or low branches of conifers, especially Pinus contorta; low elevation to alpine. Both grayanic positive and deficient strains. Pacific Northwest endemic.
