Sea Pork (Aplidium californicum): This species is found on rocks in the low intertidal, subtidally, and growing on floating man-made structures. The main diagnostic criterion is the colony's general look and feel which reminds one of pork fat. Within this tunic, zooids can be found which are generally yellow, orange, or tan.
