File Caption Oregon Stonecrop (Sedum oreganum) in spring
File Description Photographed May 2011 on a south-facing talus slope along Baranof Lake across from Baranof Lake Cabin. The fleshy leaves, growth form, and location of this plant suggest it is Oregon Stonecrop (Sedum oreganum), though no collection was made of these plants. Apparently quite rare in the Sitka area, it appears the only other record is a collection made at the lake in 1963.
