Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Previously known only from Yakutat Bay.
Habitat: Inundated or in wet sites from sea level to the lower alpine, bottoms of pools, in streams, in peatlands, alpine slopes wet from snow melt, banks of lakes, and other similar habitats. Most common at the higher elevations.
Comments: The species is occasionally fertile in southeastern Alaska.
