  • Skinner, et al 2012: "Native grass found in the wet area of riparian zones. Appears to be a colonizer of disturbed areas thus it may be crowded out by tall sedges and other riparian grasses. Usually found in disturbed small slow flowing streams, bogs, and lakeshores. Mostly found in the southern coasts of Alaska."
