Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Widespread. Not previously reported.
Habitat: In humid gorges or gulleys in extremely sheltered sites, dark crevices and deeply hidden rock surfaces. Appears to be restricted to acid rocks. Generally at lower elevations, but also to the subalpine.
Comments: Generally with sporophytes.
