Scientific NameCommon NameSummary
Eupentacta pseudoquinquesemitaLong-footed white sea cucumberThis common sea cucumber looks a lot like Eupentacta quinquesemita, but has longer tube feet and some different-looking ossicles.
Eupentacta quinquesemitaStiff-footed white sea cucumberThis species is difficult to definitively identify without a look at the ossicles through a microscope. A description of the ossicles can be found in Lambert 1997. Macroscopically, this species has much shorter, stiffer tube feet than the incredibly similar Eupentacta pseudoquinquesemita. A similar genus is Pentamera spp.
