Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Washington Bay, Kuiu Island (Eyerdam, 1952).
Habitat: In wet areas, swamps and bogs, among other bryophytes, often well into the alpine.
Comments: The southeastern Alaska record appears to be the southernmost site for the species in western North America.
