Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Yakutat Bay, Hidden Glacier Inlet and Muir Glacier (Cardot and Theriot, 1902).
Habitat: From seeps and wet places, often in calcareous situations.
Comments: Unverified material possibly this species has been collected by the present author on the slopes of Sebree Mountain at the mouth of Muir Inlet. The distribution and ecology of B. turbinatum are not well understood nor documented in western North America.
