Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Douglas Island (Cardot and Theriot, 1902) and two stations on Yakobi Island (Persson, 1963).
Habitat: In peatlands, bogs and fens from sea level to the subalpine.
Comments: Rarely with sporophytes, then only in the northern part of its range. The southeastern Alaska locations are the southern-most for the species in coastal, western North America.
