Potamogeton perfoliatus

From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Jump to: navigation, search

Clasping-leaf Pondweed (Potamogeton perfoliatus): FNA indicates this species is not known to occur in Alaska (though Richardson's Pondweed (Potamogeton richardsonii) is said to be very similar, and has been considered a subspecies). The only collection from the region in ARCTOS has a note "=P. richardsonii", so it seems likely this species does not occur in the region unless P. richardsonii is included.
