Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 89. Throughout.
Habitat: On shaded rocks, boulders, cliffs, and canyon walls, also on tree trunks, rarely on forest floors among other bryophytes. Sea level to the upper limit of the forest.
Comments: Sporophytes are rare, but sexual organs are relatively common.
