Polystichum andersonii
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Anderson's Holly Fern (Polystichum andersonii): Expected throughout the region (FNA map) collections from the region have primarily been made near Juneau, Ketchikan, or Sitka, with apparently only a handful from other locations, including Yakobi Island, Glacier Bay, north Chichagof Island and Coronation Island.
Local Notes
- Sitka/Polystichum andersonii: Seems to be widespread in appropriate habitat, but generally only in small numbers. Can be observed along Indian River Trail, and probably other forest trails around town as well. (edit)
