Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known from Sitka (Lesquereux and James, 1884), and from the slopes of Solomon's Railroad (prominent forested moraine), Lituya Bay, Glacier Bay National Monument, Worley and Streveler 12976).
Habitat: On soil among rocks and boulders, cliff crevices where there is some soil.
Comments: Usually with sporophytes.
