Perophora annectens

Yellow social tunicate (Perophora annectens): At a mere 6 millimeters tall, this species is less than half the size of Orange Social Tunicate (Metandrocarpa taylori). it is also more transparent than that species, and more obviously colonial. Even so, it is much less obviously colonial than ascidians such as Chain tunicate (Botrylloides violaceus), for example.
