Lophopanopeus bellus	Black-clawed crab	Three spines on the sides of the carapace. This crab doesn't pinch when handled, and is found in mid- to low-energy, low intertidal areas. It is possible that the subspecies diegensis is present in our area. Look for tubercles on the chela and lobes on the front margins of the walking legs.
