Pagurus hartae
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Brilliant hermit crab (Pagurus hartae): This small hermit crab (less than 5 mm carapace length) is immediately recognizable by its red color and bright violet patches on the carpus and merus of the claws and legs. Easily overlooked, species may be very common in the low intertidal zone under rocks.
