Whiteknee hermit crab:
Whiteknee hermit crab (Pagurus dalli): Similar to Stevens' hermit crab (Pagurus stevensae) in have a raised longitudinal ridge on the palm of the left claw (but a normal right claw), the whiteknee hermit crab has distinct white bands on the joints of the legs. The merus of the right claw is about 1.5 times as long as wide. This species is usually subtidal.
