Myrica gale
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Sweet Gale (Myrica gale): Quite a few collections in ARCTOS, with all but one in the far southern part of the region, or the mainland (or adjacent small islands) from Juneau north. The only exception is a collection from Kruzof Island, near Sitka.
Local Notes
- Sitka/Myrica gale: In the area can be found at edge of beach forest and muskeg along Mount Edgecumbe Trail on Kruzof Island and near Goddard Hotsprings. Does not appear to be present along the road system. (edit)
