Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from the Chilkat mountains (Kurtz, 1885) and Yakobi Island (Persson, 1963).
Habitat: Frequently in large carpets on cliffs, in streams, stony strambanks, occasionally in stagnant water, most commonly in the subalpine-alpine (Arnell, 1956).
