Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 58. Previously known only from Juneau (Evans, 1900). Restricted to the northern portion of the region.
Habitat: Among bryophytes in forests, sometimes on cliffs, also rarely in open or semi-shaded seeps.
Comments: The species is generally sterile.
