Worley's Map of Collection Records for Microlepidozia setacea

Ian Worley
[as Microlepidozia setacea]
Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 70. Throughout.
Habitat: Common on highly organic substrates and/or moist sites. Among Sphagnum in peatlands, on peat, on rotting wood, scattered on cliff shelves, over rocks near cascades in shade or in sunny sites.
Comments: The material is always sterile in southeastern Alaska. The present distribution in western North America extends only within areas of Pleistocene glaciation.
