Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 249. Previously reported from Egg Harbor (Holzinger, 1914) and Aats Bay (Holzinger and Frye, 1921).
Habitat: Restricted to rich soils over limestone, and from limestone cliffs, always in shade, often locally abundant. Known only near sea level.
Comments: Frequently with sporophytes in southeastern Alaska.
