Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 244. Rare.
Habitat: In southeastern Alaska seemingly restricted to open herb-colonized seeps or lake margins. Known elsewhere from a variety of habitats; moist soils, in meadows, forests, ditches, streams, sometimes on rotten wood or on soil over rocks. Usually where there is considerable moisture. From sea level to the subalpine.
Comments: Occasionally with sporophytes.
