Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Common throughout. Previously known from only a rew reports.
Habitat: On rocks, soil (especially damp sandy soils) and decorticated logs in and along streams, gullies, and canyons. Occasionally on sea cliffs and coastal rocks, also wet areas such as seeps. From sea level to the subalpine.
Comments: Often with sporophytes.
