Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Yakutat and reported by Stair (1947) and Welch (1960).
Habitat: In streams, ponds and lakes; at Yakutat also on a Salix branch, 1.54 m above high water mark (Welch, 1960).
Comments: The Alaskan site is the northernmost report of this species from North America.
