Southeastern Alaska Distribution: New to the district. Throughout.
Habitat: Widespread but seldom abundant. Most frequent on unstable, shaded and humid guillies; but also on seepy roadcuts, avalanche tracks and on cliff faces. usually at lower elevations, but also to the lower subalpine.
Comments: Frequently with sporophytes. The present reports are the northernmost in western North America.
