Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 209. Previously reported from Juneau by Cardot and Theriot (1902).
Habitat: In rock crevices and on soil in calcareous districts.
Comments: Commonly with sporophytes. this species is known only from the northern and "Dry Climate" portions of southeastern Alaska.
