Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Previously known from Skagway (Persson, 1952b).
Habitat: Usually in rock crevices on cliffs and outcrops, sometimes on soil. From sea level to the subalpine, usually, but not exclusively, in calcareous situations. Exposed sites or shaded habitats.
Comments: This species is usually with sporophytes.
