Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Throughout. Previously reported only from Yakutat (Cardot and Theriot, 1902).
Habitat: On the bark of alder branches and trunks where more or less horizontal, also on large, fallen logs in the early stages of decay.
Comments: Sporophytes have not been seen in the southeastern Alaska material, but the deciduous leaf tips are abundant and easily distributed.
