Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Known only from Khantaak Island, Yakutat Bay (Coville, 1896).
Habitat: on decaying wood, logs and stumps.
Comments: The species has continental tendencies and is uncommon in oceanic areas throughout its range. The Yakutat Bay report is however well within the oceanic environment.
