Southeastern Alaska Distribution: New to the region. From the south ridge of Mt. Yanovski, NE of Davidof Lake, Baranof Island, Worley and Hamilton 9906.
Habitat: Specimen 9906 was growing among heathers on a damp, open, subalpine slope. The species is known from damp, loamy soils, banks of ditches, and occasionally in rock crevices. Most common at lower elevation, rare in the subalpine.
Comments: The southeastern Alaska material had sporophytes.
