Fern-leaf Goldthread (Coptis aspleniifolia): Locally abundant wintergreen herb of open forest areas. Flowers are present relatively early, and are easy to overlook. Leaves are not always present at the time of blooming.

Collections (georferenced) in ARCTOS from much of the region, though none from the gulf coast nor from Prince of Wales Island.

Pacific Northwest coastal endemic (southern BC to Southcentral Alaska).
