Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Previously reported from a few scattered sites. Throughout.
Habitat: Common on drier rocks and cliffs in forests, occasionally on trunks of trees (especially Alnus). From sea level to the subalpine.
Comments: The plants are occasionally fertile. In western North America the species is primarily coastal.
