Worley's Map of Collection Records for Catoscopium nigritum

Ian Worley

Southeastern Alaska Distribution: Not previously known. Not uncommon at Glacier Bay.
Habitat: On soil in seeps, wet slopes, fens, usually in calcareous site, rarely found in drier habitats.
Comments: The Glacier Bay material was with sporophytes, and the plants were common and abundant in suitable habitats. While this species is not a strictly Interior plant, especially in the subarctic and Arctic, it is infrequent to absent in strictly oceanic climates.
