Boletus edulis
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
King Bolete (Boletus edulis): A delicious mushroom more often sought than found. Recognized by the warm brown color of the cap , light reticulate pattern on the stem and the light colored pores. These fungi are most often found from July to early October, depending on the year.
