Local Notes
- Glacier Bay/American Dipper: American Dippers can be found throughout the year in large, clear streams and rivers. (edit)
- Haines/American Dipper: (edit)
- Juneau/American Dipper: (edit)
- Ketchikan/American Dipper: (edit)
- Sitka/American Dipper: Fairly Common resident. Less often seen on the road system during summer after they move upstream to breed. Seen on most rocky swift moving streams. Totem Park, Granite Creek, and Starrigavan are particularly good locations for viewing along the road system in winter. In other seasons, Indian River Trail offers the best chance of finding them.
