Southeastern Alaska Distribution: See Map 371.
Habitat: In southeastern Alaska known from talus slopes, subalpine outcrops, in canyons, and on rocky soils in the deciduous -- coniferous forests of the upper Lynn Canal. Elsewhere the species is known from rotten logs, forest floors, cliff shelves and on banks.
Comments: Sometimes with sporophytes.
