Thelypteris quelpaertensis
From Natural History of Southeast Alaska
Queen's-veil Maiden Fern (Thelypteris quelpaertensis): Expected throughout the region (FNA map), the georeferenced collections are mostly from the southern part of Southeast Alaska, with one from Lisianski Strait. Review of non-georeferenced collections in Arctos may reveal additional collections.
Local Notes
- Sitka/Thelypteris quelpaertensis: Widespread but not typically abundant in any location. Found from forested valley bottoms to subalpine meadows, but seems to be more common in open meadows, especially near tree line. Most easily observed along Harbor-Gavan Trail. (edit)
